What can Amsterdam learn from cities like New York, Paris, Shanghai or Istanbul? This evening, architect and urbanist Florian Idenburg (SO-IL) will present his research into the future of our work environment.Idenburg is a Dutch architect and co-founder of the award-winning architectural design firm SO-IL in New York City. He is Associate Professor of Practice at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard.

The C4C6 lectures are open to 2nd and 3rd year students at the Academy of Architecture. For them, all lectures are required, except Florian Idenburg's lecture on 28 March. This one is optional.

All the lectures take place in the Hoge Zaal at the Academy of Architecture, except for the lectures on 28.03, 11.04, 16.05 and 23.05. These will take place at Pakhuis de Zwijger and have free access to everyone who is interested.

The C4C6 lecture series aims to give master students at the Academy of Architecture a clear understanding of the current urban issues in Amsterdam. Secondly, the international perspective shows students that urban solutions generated in one part of the world can be an inspiration for cities in other countries.
