During one of the first 1·Lectures series, in 2014, Arnoud Gelauff presented the different versions of the design for the Pontsteiger that he and his partner Floor Arons has made over the years. Four years pn, there is a new icon at the head of the ferry jetty in the now completely transformed Houthaven.

Pontsteiger will be completed this winter. The immense residential building is visible throughout the city and the IJ river and is well known to many by now. With four extra years of experience Arnoud Gelauf tells us all about the twelve special years in the lives of Arons and Gelauff architects with, without and eventually once more with Pontsteiger.
