Architect Adam Frampton (Only If, New York) will discuss his research and design work on 'Irregular Development' – small irregular plots in New York City that are often overlooked, but that are made suitable for residential development. How could this approach offer an alternative to what is currently being done in the Netherlands?

The C4C6 lectures are open to 2nd and 3rd year students at the Academy of Architecture. For them, all lectures are required, except Florian Idenburg's lecture on 28 March. This one is optional.

All the lectures take place in the Hoge Zaal at the Academy of Architecture, except for the lectures on 28.03, 11.04, 16.05 and 23.05. These will take place at Pakhuis de Zwijger and have free access to everyone who is interested.

The C4C6 lecture series aims to give master students at the Academy of Architecture a clear understanding of the current urban issues in Amsterdam. Secondly, the international perspective shows students that urban solutions generated in one part of the world can be an inspiration for cities in other countries.
