Winter School 2014: Slim City

Studies show that minimal, but daily, exercise can help prevent serious health problems. Architects and urban planners can stimulate people to move more through design interventions. During the Winter School of 2014, 'Slim City', 19 student teams worked on innovative design proposals to get residents of Amsterdam moving more and, in particular, with greater regularity. All design proposals were combined and offered to the Amsterdam councillor for Healthcare and Welfare.
