Open days

The Academy of Architecture will organise two open days this academic year. On an open day you will gather information about the education at the Academy, there is an opportunity to ask questions to the practice coordinators and the study coordinators about the combination of work and study and you can meet the heads of the masters Architecture, Urbanism and Landscape Architecture. During the open day, you can feel the atmosphere of our historical building, join a guided tour including a visit to the model studio and the library and meet students and graduates of the Academy.

Introductory workshops

The Academy of Architecture organizes introductory workshops as an introduction to the education we offer. The workshops are meant for (graduate) students of relevant education and art schools interested in following a pre-masterminor, or masters degree.

Workshops provide an excellent opportunity to get more acquainted with the education of the Academy. During a live workshop, you will work on an assignment in an (international) team; online you will work individually on the assignment, with guidance from the tutors. The tutors are graduates of the Academy and they will happily answer all your questions, feel free to ask them anything about the Academy. The workshops run from 9:15 to appr. 17:15. Participation is free, but not non-committal: we expect your presence throughout the day.

Guided tours

A guided tour is a pleasant and informal way to experience the atmosphere at the academy. During a tour, we will take you in a small group through a typical school day at our academy. You will be guided by alumni and have the opportunity to ask questions to the education manager. Afterwards, you are more than welcome to stay a bit longer in the canteen.

Online Q&A

The online Q&A sessions are intended for students who cannot physically visit the academy. These sessions are organised twice a year. In autumn, the Q&A is primarily available for international students, in spring it is open to anyone with last-minute questions about the application and admissions process.
