From September 2019, the Amsterdam University of the Arts opened the doors of the MakerSpace, a new workplace at the Marineterrein in Amsterdam. It offers students more space to design, create and experiment with technologies suchs as 3D printers, VR and laser cutters. From September on, students of the Academy of Architecture have been taking classes at the Marineterrein, but they can also go there to work on their models themselves. The new location can be found in building 027.
Student how want to work in the MakerSpace, have access with their student pass (after following a mandatory class instruction).
Opening hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 - 00:00, Saturday: 8:00 - 18:00
Instructors are present: Monday to Thursday: 10:00 - 20:00, Friday and Saturday: 9:00 - 17:00
