We will kick off the new academic year with an inspiring keynote speech by Spanish-Mexican researcher and lecturer Victor Muñoz Sanz.

Victor is a researcher and educator with a background in design practice. He will elaborate how architects, urbanists and landscape architects (together with humans, non-humans, and allied disciplines) can initiate a transformation that reshapes cities into thriving, sustainable social and natural ecosystems.

The Opening of the Academic Year will take place on Friday 22 August in the Zuiderkerk in Amsterdam and is only open to students, lecturers and staff of the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture.
