Open call: Intercultural Competence Trainers

We are looking for Intercultural Competence Trainers / Teachers to teach the subject Intercultural Competence for 2nd-year students in the Master's Programmes in Architecture, Urbanism, and Landscape Architecture.

The classes will run weekly for a period of 7 weeks, once per academic year, starting September 024, most likely on Friday afternoon 13:00-16:00.

The language of instruction will be English and payment will be according to the CAO of the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK).

Interested trainers/teachers should have the following:

  1. Extensive knowledge of the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (Bennett)

  2. Experience using the DMIS in training / teaching

  3. Preferably IDI certified

  4. At least 5 years experience as an intercultural competence trainer/teacher

  5. Experience in an academic environment is preferred
