We are looking for a lecturer in Building Physics as of September 2023 for the Pre-Master A&T (Architecture and Technology) at the Academy of Architecture Amsterdam.

The students of the Pre-master can start with a completed Bachelor's degree (Art Education, Interior, Spatial-design etc). These students, therefore, do not have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture as prior education. Thus, they lack the construction knowledge to start the Master of Architecture directly, hence this pre-master A&T.

This course is organized two times a year, in the 1st semester (Sept-Jan) and the 2nd semester (Feb-June). After passing the pre-master, students can enrol in the Master of Architecture. The study guide has more information about the pre-master - on pages 10/11 about building physics.
 

What we ask:
For you to facilitate ten classes per semester (nine lectures + one exam). The first three classes will also include a short one-hour refresher course in mathematics for these students. The lessons will be given on Wednesday evening (or possibly Tuesday evening) to a group of about 8 to 10 students (NL/EN) at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam.
