November 6, it was announced which graduation projects of the year 2016 are nominated for participation in Archiprix. An audience prize was also awarded. The Graduation Show with the graduation work of students from the master's programs in Architecture, Urbanism and Landscape Architecture was opened on Friday, November 4 by architecture critic Kirsten Hannema. Chief Government Architect Floris Alkemade acted as visiting critic. On behalf of the jury, Madeleine Maaskant (director of the Academy of Architecture) announced on Sunday which graduation projects are submitted for participation in Archiprix, the prestigious prize for graduating talent from the Dutch design programs. Architect Ronald Hooft announced the winner of the public award.

Nominations for Archiprix The nominated graduation projects: 'New Life for Death' by Michael van Bergen. 'The House of the City' by Ramon Scharff. 'Marcy Houses' by Hans Maarten Wikkerink. And 'Forever traveling' by Sweder Spanjer. The audience prize was won by Laura van de Pol with her graduation project 'Urban Mangrove'. The presentation of the Archiprix took place in June 2017.
