Twelve good ideas for the future of cities
In 2018, the Academy of Architecture organized the lecture series The Amsterdam Agenda for the students of the master's programmes in Architecture, Urbanism and Landscape Architecture. The publication The Amsterdam Agenda bundles the solutions from the lecture series by international thinkers from architecture, urban planning, activism and more. The book will be presented in Pakhuis de Zwijger on Tuesday 11 February.

The Amsterdam Agenda
From climate change to migration, cities around the world are facing problems for which there are no simple solutions. In The Amsterdam Agenda, twelve original thinkers share their vision about the future of cities. Whether it is about the impact of mass tourism, new forms of participation or the arrival of new technologies - the urgent challenges and solutions they describe have global impact. What do these challenges mean for cities worldwide? What are the challenges in Amsterdam and which solutions are obvious?

Book presentation: The Amsterdam Agenda. Tuesday 11 February, 8 p.m. at Pakhuis de Zwijger. Click here for more information and to reserve tickets.
