How should you present yourself and your work? Improve your presentation and pitch skills in five training sessions. Do you get tongue-tied in front of an audience? Do you lose your thread when you’re pitching or presenting? Not sure what to do with your hands? Or are you just looking for new ways to improve your presentation skills? If so, this is the right training course for you.  You’ll learn how to develop and consciously apply skills that you can use in any presentation or pitch.

We’ll work on body language, using your voice, using the space, interacting with the audience and structuring your presentation. You’ll learn to become aware and control the way you talk, your mannerisms and your posture. You’ll discover your personal presentation style – the power of your presentation lies in the nuances of your own character, not just technical skills. This course centres on your individual qualities, because presenting is a lot easier and more natural if you can just be yourself.

Session 1 Body language
Thursday 5 November 2020. 19:00-21:30
What’s your posture like? How do you stand – and what does it signal? What’s the effect of this on you and your audience? In this session, you’ll become more conscious of your physical language. You’ll learn how you can play with it, and how you can use your body to convey a message to your audience.

Session 2 Communicating with your audience and using the space
Thursday 12 November 2020, 19:00-21:30
How should you move your body in the presentation space? Learn how to direct focus, appeal to your audience, and make the space your own.

Session 3 Structure
Thursday 19 November, 19:00-21:30
Learn how to build up your presentation properly – preparation is key!

Session 4 Voice and breath
Thursday 26 November 2020, 19:00-21:30
How should you tell your story? Where does your breath come from while you’re presenting? Learn to use your voice and breath correctly, so you can present in an easy-going manner and have fun doing it.

Session 5 Energy and enthusiasm
Thursday 3 December 2020, 19:00-21:30
Your approach to presenting is unique, and it comes from what you feel passionate about. Learn to make the most of this power, to place your trust in it, and let your enthusiasm drive your presentation.
