Architect David Mulder van der Vegt (XML, Amsterdam) will discuss one of the key ingredients of urban life: nightlife. What is the history and tradition of nightlife in various western cities? And how did nightlife develop in Amsterdam over the past decades?

The C4C6 lectures are open to 2nd and 3rd year students at the Academy of Architecture. For them, all lectures are required.

All the lectures take place in the Hoge Zaal at the Academy of Architecture, except for the lectures on 16.05 and 23.05. These will take place at Pakhuis de Zwijger and have free access to everyone who is interested.

The C4C6 lecture series aims to give master students at the Academy of Architecture a clear understanding of the current urban issues in Amsterdam. Secondly, the international perspective shows students that urban solutions generated in one part of the world can be an inspiration for cities in other countries.
